Peter: umm...
Peter salad with beef & mushrooms.
Peter: and smoked salmon with bread.
I wow
I: made at home?
I: or at ms cafe
Peter: made at home.
Peter: we don't have dinner at work.
I: oh both these things were for dinner???
Peter: yep.
Peter: they weren't that big.
I: did you make it by yourself, or with others?  and if with others, with whom?
Peter: nope, just by myself.
I: and at what time
I: wow i didn't realize you were quite the gourmet
Peter: are the readers of your blog interested in such minute details?
Peter: it was really easy, actually.
I: well, isn't that just a hefty serving of bragodoccio

So, friends, perhaps Peter has a point.  Let's take a survey:
Should I:
1) Eliminate tedious minutia from these posts?
2) Thrash Peter for his insolence?

Dave: ugh, fine.  I had cashew chicken for lunch *UNPROMPTED!*
I: HAHHA
I: nice
I: and??
Dave: the cashews were egantic

Well, David, I didn't realize my Web Log was titled "What Made-Up Words Can You Use To Describe Cashews Today?".

Dave: gee, thanks for truncating our entire conversation into 4 lines

Is that what I did, Daaaaaave? I humiliated you? Oh my god, I'm sorry. [to quote Glengarry Glen Ross]

Dave: like it was really unprompted.  You knew you wanted it.

And I don't get a moment to spare for some bust-out humanitarian down on his luck lately? (again, from GGGR)

Dave: aren't you a pretend vegetarian?
Hey, let me buy you a pack of gum. I'll show you how to chew it. Whoof. You're pal closes, and all that comes out of your mouth is BIIIILE.   How fucked *UP* you are! (yes, also from GGGR)
